I have been lucky to have excellent mentors, advisors, teammates, and leaders throughout my career. Here are a few kind words shared on my behalf.
Danielle Geanacopoulos, Managing Director of Communications, Policy, and Advocacy at The Rockefeller Foundation, written 2022
“Madeline served as a communications associate reporting to myself on various projects over the course of her internship with [the Communications, Policy, and Advocacy team at The Rockefeller Foundation]. Madeline is impressive, mature beyond her years, enthusiastic, and thoughtful, with a total roll-up-sleeves attitude – in short, an absolute pleasure to work with. My only regret is that I don’t have headcount to keep her with our team forever. I know she would be a tremendous asset to any team.”
Will L., former Sales Manager and Eco-Warrior at London Bio Packaging, written 2019
“If I were in the position to be her empoyer then I wouldn’t have a second thought, in fact I’d create a position for her. Since arriving at LBP Madeline has provided more leadership and structure than we have ever had. She is truly an inspiration, always attentive, always even tempered even under huge pressure. She has a light touch yet still manages to hold people to account, get her point across and get things done without recourse to any of the intimidation one might have expected from other people. She is an indispensible ally in negotiations. I’ve watched awestruck as she brought people full of macho, bravado, and swagger who were not prepared to give an inch right over to her side and have them singing her praises in a flash.”
Alex Noake, Managing Director of London Bio Packaging, written 2020
“Energy, enthusiasm, drive. Madeline has a willingness to take anything on. She successfully led the business through a period of intense change.”
Tammy Kimbler, former Senior Planner, Marketing Communictions & Mission at General Mills, written 2016
“Madeline’s energy is contagious. Time and time again, I have seen her lead and present to the team, leadership, outside influencers, and vendor partners in a way that’s inspiring, courageous, and collaborative. She champions the consumer, innovative thinking, and staying true to brand purpose, even in the face of entrenched processes, political forces, and short term thinking.”
Erin Anderson, former Manager of Media Acceleration & Innovation at General Mills, written 2015
“Madeline has a thirst to execute brilliantly and a drive to deliver great results. She turns things around faster than the speed of light.”
Nicci Trovinger, former Marketing Manager at General Mills, written 2015
“Madeline is incredibly in tune with the market and everything that feels ‘now.’ She is a strategic thinker with a good gut.”
Genna Rosenberg, former Senior Vice President of Communications, Investor Relations & Philanthropy at JAKKS Pacific, written 2010
“Madeline worked for me as a communications intern at JAKKS Pacific, Inc., a leading, publicly‐traded U.S. toy company, in the Fall of 2010.
Madeline is a remarkable young woman. She was the youngest intern I have ever had – it was prior to her freshman year in college – yet, she was one of the most outstanding interns I have worked with throughout my almost 20 year career. Madeline played an integral role in helping to allocate very large charitable toy donations to deserving charities nationwide, and executed on direction meticulously. She is extremely positive and astute, and I was also impressed with her ability to multi‐task at such a young age. She made herself a tremendous asset to our extremely busy department during her time there. She also worked with me on organizing and disseminating photos and information to media and other stakeholders throughout our organization.
Madeline is detail oriented. She anticipated next steps and always went above and beyond to make sure her work product was effective and well received. She is also an absolute pleasure to work with. A trustworthy and caring person, she put 100% into everything she touched. I highly recommend Madeline, and know she will make a strong addition to the team lucky enough to snatch her up.”
Stephanie Berrios, former Director of Marketing at JAKKS Pacific, written 2010
“I am especially excited to write a recommendation letter for Madeline Robbins as she was an intern that has set the bar very high for all future interns that work with me. From the onset, without any knowledge in the toy industry, she took the reigns on any project with enthusiasm and common sense. From there, she asked all the right questions, being able to move quickly in a very fast paced and fickle industry. When a product would change direction or a project she’s been working on would take a sharp turn into a completely different area, she worked efficiently in both her time & research to make sure the end result would meet the original required deadline. She understood the processes here at Jakks which is usually half the battle – and therefore saved myself the time to explain procedures & we could jump into our workload immediately. From marketing to costing to helping out at our annual trade show, Toy Fair, she always presented herself with confidence and professionalism. Madeline brought with her the new techniques of learning that she was able to share with me and therefore we both had give and take work atmosphere.
I remember one time Madeline was going to a birthday party that was the exact target demographic for the Cabbage Patch Kids. She offered to take 6 samples to the party & held her own focus group test in the kitchen with the Moms and sitting in the grass with the children. She brought the results back, typed them up & presented them to me. I still use that feedback today.
Madeline will be going far in this world and I would highly recommend her for any position.”
