About Me

Hello! My name is Madeline Marina Robbins.

  • I am a California born, Missouri educated, Minnesota trained, former Londoner, finally-returned California resident.
  • I’ve committed my 12+ year career to mission-focused work across the private and non-profit sectors, and have been lucky enough to have wonderful mentors who have invested in my growth.
  • I work in Strategy & Operations on the Strategic Engagement team at RMI (Rocky Mountain Institute), a global non-profit accelerating the energy transition.
  • Prior to that, I earned an MBA in Sustainability and Social Impact and a Graduate Certificate in Sustainability and Business from University of Southern California Marshall School of Business.
  • In the USA, I’m an American. In the EU, I’m a European. In the UK, I’m…TBC #brexit.
  • I stand for equity, respect, integrity, kindness, and joy. These are my ground rules for everything.
  • Few things get my professional blood pumping as much as a good strategy, project plan, to-do list, and budget – and then getting other folks bought in and partnered to the plan. I’m proudly Type A.
  • Check out my Portfolio & Life Updates page for examples of my work, some musings, and fun tidbits on my life.
  • Parlo italiano e inglese. Ciao!
  • I am agnostic, was raised Jewish, and am fascinated by religion, hence my college major in Religious Studies at Washington University in St. Louis.
  • I love to dance Salsa. I performed (and occasionally competed!) across London and the EU.  Check out my previous team photos here.
  • And I am a full-time vegetarian and flex to vegan when I’m not living at home with my Italian, cheese-obsessed mother. Change your diet, save the planet (and animals)!

I’d love to hear your story or answer any questions you might have about mine. Please don’t hesitate to give me a ring.
